A day from the Hutt
Sea, mountain and fire before closing time
Nothing here is a long drive away. That's the whole point of the place.
Sea
Two minutes to the promenade. Low tide gives you half a mile of hard flat sand.
Mountain
Through Donard Park onto the Glen River path. Forest, then open hill at the Mourne Wall.
Drying room
Wet gear straight in at the door. Dry and wearable again by teatime.
Stove
Fire lit, pool table going, tomorrow being over-planned on the map.
Kitchen or town
Cook your own, or five minutes' walk to the pubs and chip shops.
